Celebrating Freedom: JM International School’s Independence Day Extravaganza.
Special assemblies celebrating India's Independence Day were held at all levels in JMIS. Through speeches, songs, and performances, students reflected on the significance of freedom. The assemblies served as a powerful reminder of the importance of preserving and cherishing the independence gained through immense struggle.
A grand celebration to commemorate Independence Day was held on August 13th, and was marked by patriotic fervor with deep sense of national pride, bringing together students, faculty, and esteemed guests in a vibrant display of unity and culture
The Independence Day celebration was graced by the presence of Chief guest Major Rakesh Sharma, who is a Kargil war veteran, as well as Shaurya Chakra awardee. Other dignitaries were Chairman Mr. R.B. Gupta, and Mrs. Gupta, Managem Member Sh R.k

The festivities commenced with the hoisting of the national flag, which fluttered proudly against the blue sky, symbolizing the country’s hard-won freedom followed by guest’s felicitation. The atmosphere was charged with emotions as the school’s talented students presented an instrumental performance. The harmonious blend of traditional and modern instruments played by the School was a reminder of the diverse cultural heritage that India is known for.The school choir performed a soul stirring patriotic song - ‘विजयी à¤à¤µ:’, that resonated deeply with the audience, setting the tone for the rest of the event.
The highlight of the event was a captivating dance drama on the life of Rani Lakshmi Bai, the valiant Queen of Jhansi. Through dynamic choreography and emotive acting, the performance brought to life the indomitable spirit of one of India’s most revered freedom fighters.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, followed by the national anthem, which echoed through the school walls, bringing the celebration to a fitting close.
