ANNUAL DAY: A SYMPHONY OF CELEBRATION AT JMIS!
J M International School, Dwarka celebrated its 'Annual Day- Anugoonj & Paritosh, 2024' on Saturday, December 21 at school premises with a great enthusiasm and fervor. The theme of the event, 'Pillars of Virtues’ symbolized the echoes of virtues that resonate within us.
The event was presided over by Sh. Arun Gemini Ji, Indian Writer & Poet, Sh. Arun Prabhu Ji, Entrepreneur, Author, Motivational Speaker, Theatre Artist, Movie Maker & Director, noted educationists and members of Management Committee, Sh. S C Anand, Sh. R K Sharma, Sh. Virendra Srivastava, Sh. R P Ram, Dr. Anil Vashishtha, Dr. M P Gupta, Sh. J P Aggarwal, Sh. Mohan Kumar Goel, Mrs Gupta and Chairman Sh. R B Gupta Ji, J M International Group of Schools whose visionary leadership continues to inspire the school’s commitment to excellence. The occasion was further honored by the presence of Sh. Yogesh Gupta, Vice-Chairman, JM International Group of Schools, Directors, Mr. Rohit Gupta, Mr Vasu Gupta, CEO Ms. Kriti and JMIS Dwarka Principal, Dr Amita Saxena whose continuous support has been instrumental in shaping the school’s success. The function commenced with the lighting of the lamp by our honorable dignitaries.
Excitement pinnacled as the curtain finally drew back after days of dedicated rehearsals. The Annual Day celebration began on a high note with orchestra and choir blended in a perfect harmony, establishing a reverent tone for the day. After being serenaded by the choir and orchestra, the audience was further enchanted by the captivating Ganesh Vandana dance performance, which left the audience spellbound.
The School Principal, Dr. Amita Saxena presented the school's astounding achievements in academics and co-curricular domains through a progressive Annual Report, 2024-25.
One of the most anticipated segments of the day was 'Paritosh-2024', the award ceremony in which the school recognized and honored students for their academic achievements and co-curricular activities.
The Vice Chairman in his address, acknowledged and appreciated the tireless efforts of students, teachers, and staff and outlined his vision for future.
The Annual Function themed ‘Pillars of Virtues’ presented a captivating series of scenes that brought to life inspiring characters from history and mythology. The performance showcased the exemplary virtues like Raja Harish Chandra’s honesty, Shravan Kumar’ filial piety, Neerja Bhanot’s Bravery, Capt. Vikram Batra’s patriotism and many more. Additionally, the characters of Ek Lavya, Aruni, Siddharth, Raja Ram Mohan Roy and Mahatma Gandhi were also portrayed, highlighting the importance of values of truthfulness, compassion and courage, inspiring the audience to emulate these virtues in their own lives.
The children's performance on the stage was an absolute delight! Their confidence and enthusiasm were evident as they showcased their talent, spreading smiles all around.
The esteemed chief guest and luminary figure, Mr. Arun Gemini captivated the audience with his humorous poetries and an inspiring speech was delivered by Mr. Arun Prabhu with lot of appreciation for the outstanding performances.
The grand Annual Event was a reflection of the vibrant and dynamic spirit of the school and the grand finale was a spectacular culmination to a superb show.
